Federal authorities are searching for a Port Arthur couple wanted on multiple charges, including "dangerous drugs, money laundering and conspiracy."

Daurence Everett Brooks, 42, and Mira Nicole Brooks, 38, are both wanted on active federal warrants. Investigators believe the husband-and-wife duo may currently be residing in Port Neches.

Authorities are urging the public to help locate the pair, noting that couples involved in criminal activity often stay together while evading law enforcement.

“There’s no room in Port Arthur for another Bonnie and Clyde,” the Port Arthur Police Department said in a statement.
